l’ esposizione di ogni lastra è di circa 45 secondi, da qui il nome del progetto.
Sono ritratti in cui metto a nudo i miei stati d’animo. E’ una fotografia necessaria. La parte più importante, per me, di questo lavoro è esorcizzare i pesi emotivi che fanno parte della vita.

La tecnica del collodio umido, grazie al suo processo, mi permette di esprimere alcune emozioni e sentimenti che altre tecniche non riescono.
Quando sono nate le prime immagini, ho capito che non erano solo interessanti per me, ma suscitavano forti reazioni emotive da parte degli spettatori.

45 SECONDS OF ME
project of self-portrait, started in 2017.
The images was made with an exposure of about 45 seconds , hense the name of the work.
These portraits lay bare my state of mind. This photography is necessary for me as a way to release the weight of life’s emotions.
The wet plate collodion tecnique, thanks to its process, allows me to express some emotions and sentiments which other tecnique do not.
I realised that when the first images were born, they were not only interesting to me, but they drew strong emotion reactions from the viewers.
I found that each viewer would identify with the image in their on unique way
The project is on going and therefore is in a continual evolution.
