Ritratti Isolati is a project created during the lockdown.
Through video call I photographed people locked up in their homes, where the concept of time and state of mind was different for everyone, but each portrait revealed a common point:
"I'm here"
"I'm here” was the desire to feel part of the world despite the forced isolation.

My research was mainly aimed at women, because there was a lot of talk about the condition of women confined to the house
The images are realized with the large format via video call.
The photographs were taken on a 4 by 5 inches paper negative and also contact printed on silver paper.
The control, both during the shooting phase and in the following development phases, was very limited and it was the reason because I chose to use this method that metaphorically reflected the period we were living.
